What we need

Do you thrive on working in an international, fast paced and dynamic environment? Are you an HR generalist who is familiar with European employment law and with sound experience across the whole range of HR disciplines, ideally from an Asset Management / Financial Services background?

As HR Manager (Associate) you will work within a small team reporting to the MD, Head of HR, and provide business focused support across existing and new geographies. The Group is currently going through significant change and a challenging growth phase, so you will need to be highly commercial and flexible in your approach with business partners.

This is a newly created role and you will be able to influence how it evolves over time. The role is an opportunity for a talented HR professional who wants to build their career dedicated to HR within a fast paced, dynamic global business.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the wider HR team to successfully deliver HR initiatives across the spectrum of HR activities including Employer Branding, Compensation & Benefits, Performance Management, Learning and Development, Absence Management, Employer Policies & Handbook, HR Systems Implementations etc.
  • Manage and maintain the end-to-end employee lifecycle of HR processes
  • Support the HR team with on boarding and off boarding of employees, including induction programmes
  • Proactively update self with employment legislation across EMEA
  • Close collaboration with our Talent Acquisition team on resourcing plans
  • Provide analytical and project support to the Head of HR on strategic topics

What you will have

  • Proven HR background in a variety of HR disciplines within a multinational organisation with at least 2 years’ comparable experience
  • Experience within Asset Management / Financial Services is highly preferred
  • Degree or Commercial Education combined with further or ongoing education in HR Management
  • Knowledge of European employment legislation
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Curiosity to learn, to understand and embrace change
  • Comfort working in a fast paced, ever changing dynamic environment
  • A methodical, analytical and logical approach to finding solutions
  • High levels of professionalism and integrity
  • Strong interpersonal skills; at ease working with a wide audience varying in degrees of seniority and ability to develop effective relationships with key stakeholders
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel
  • Excellent communication skills in English and German (written and verbal); French, Spanish/Italian would be an advantage
