As a platinum partner of NZZ Impact Finance, ThomasLloyd supported the Impact Finance Conference in Bern and held a panel discussion with renowned finance experts and policy makers.  ThomasLloyd facilitated a wide-ranging discussion on the critical role that private capital needs to play in the fight against climate change. The panelists covered topics from their hopes for COP26, practical changes that are needed to deploy capital to emerging markets, and also the role that public market investors need to play.

About the NZZ Impact Finance Conference 2021

The "Impact Finance Conference" provides a platform for committed individuals from the world of finance with a common vision: to build bridges between the financial industry and a sustainable economy. The conference brought together 350 decision-makers from the financial industry, as well as thought leaders from business, academia, and politics, to find solutions that will secure the livelihoods of future generations. Around 25 experts from Switzerland and abroad provided inspiring food for thought for a sustainable financial center and thus for a stable and sustainable Swiss economy. The speakers included well-known personalities such as Federal Councillor Ueli Maurer, Elina Kamenitzer, Head of Climate and Environment Coordination, European Investment Bank, and Sir Ronald Cohen, entrepreneur and impact pioneer.
