Senior Compliance Manager, Europe

Your Mission

As a Senior Compliance Manager you will provide compliance advice, monitoring and oversight while balancing the commercial needs of our fast-growing business in Europe. You will work closely with internal stakeholders as well as with external advisors to guide the group from a European compliance perspective as we expand and diversify across investor segments. The ThomasLloyd major distribution markets include the DACH region, France, Benelux as well as the Nordics markets. You will have a deep knowledge and understanding of the European regulatory frameworks, regimes and regulatory and reporting requirements. You are a self-starter, who will strive in a dynamic and fast growing environment where contribution is recognized from day one and a strong platform for further personal and professional development is provided. The preferred location for the role is Zurich, but remote working outside of Switzerland with regular travel to Zurich can be discussed.

Key Success Criteria

  • 8+ years of experience managing European compliance within the Asset Management and Wealth Management industry.
  • Strong knowledge of European regulation and experience of supporting on regulatory change, impact analysis and best practice.
  • Assessment and interpretation of existing and new legislation and regulatory requirements.
  • Experience of reviewing marketing and sales materials / prospectuses, with exposure to distribution compliance a plus.
  • Excellent command of both German and English.

Financial Accountant

Your Mission

You will be a member of the Finance team and drive the provision of financial information, which enables business decisions. You will manage the operative accounting process for our legal entities and prepare monthly and annual financial statements according to the local accounting and IFRS regulations. You will be comfortable reviewing and optimizing processes/procedures and will be interested in continuously improving status quo and finding appropriate solutions. You will use your strong analytical skills, holistic understanding of business contexts and proactive approach to contribute independently as well as part of the team. You will report to the Head of External Financial Reporting and be based at our headquarters in Zurich.

Key Success Criteria

  • At least 2 years of existing experience as a Financial Accountant in-house or with a reputable audit/tax firm in an international fast-paced environment and with a degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent qualification.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills and experience using ERP systems (SAP is an advantage).
  • Good knowledge of GAAP and solid understanding of regulatory standards surrounding corporate finance.
  • Proven ability to derive meaningful information from raw data to create informative financial reports.
  • Fluent verbal and written skills in English, German language skills are an advantage.

Your Mission

Aligned with the development and growth of our Wholesale and Institutional business, you will establish a global marketing function dedicated to these channels. You will be responsible for the definition, delivery and implementation of the marketing strategy and the build-out of the department, which will cover all aspects of marketing activity including investment content / thought leadership, marketing collateral, website, campaigns, partnerships and events. You will establish a strategy to build brand awareness and promote brand perception within the target market segments. You will collaborate closely with sales and other relevant teams across the business to maximize the acquisition of new clients and to achieve positive results aligned to business objectives. The role will be based in Zurich and you will be a senior member of the Global Marketing and Communications team.

Key Success Criteria

  • Extensive experience as a senior marketing professional within the Asset Management sector.
  • Track record of delivering marketing activity globally or across the key markets within the EMEA region.
  • Sound knowledge of the Wholesale and Institutional channels, previous exposure to private markets or alternative investments would be an advantage.

Your Mission

You will be a key member of the Talent Acquisition team, taking responsibility for the full end-to-end recruitment process for both front-office and corporate roles. You will support the growth of our business through creative sourcing, selecting and hiring of best-in-class talent. You will partner with our hiring managers to understand their hiring needs, use your experience to put together role profiles, run a structured process and manage your positions and candidates. You will operate a multiple sourcing approach including delivery of informed market mapping for senior and mission critical roles to ensure a strong pipeline for current and future strategic hires. You will be a true talent partner to the business with deep understanding of the talent market, competition and industry trends. You will operate across a number of EMEA markets and will be based at our headquarters in Zurich.

Key Success Criteria

  • Successful track record as a Senior Recruiter / Talent Acquisition Manager in a recruitment agency or within an in-house talent acquisition team with extensive experience of managing the full end-to-end recruitment process.
  • Existing exposure to the Financial Services industry or a strong demonstrated interest in the Asset Management sector preferred.

You will be a proven copywriter and conceptioner excited about the opportunity to work with an investment company with focus on impact and sustainable investing. You will be responsible for creative writing and marketing content across a broad variety of formats, media and platforms including our Website, Digital Investment Platform, Online Magazine and Blogs. You will educate and inform our target market about the benefits of what we do and the impact we have on the local communities. You will work closely with members of the Munich based marketing team and collaborate across the group.  Key Success Criteria
