What we need

The Investment Solutions team manages the entire lifecycle of all product offerings after issuance, providing dedicated and professional on-boarding, analysis and implementation. We now require a commercial and entrepreneurial Associate Director, Product Management to join the Zurich team supporting the group globally. Bringing strong product management experience, you will work cross-functionally providing subject matter expertise in tax, legal, compliance and regulatory as well as other commercial matters for the Asset Management business.

The Investment Solutions team provides continuity and confidence to our internal teams (wholesale and direct distribution, marketing, communication and client services) and external clients. The Associate Director will advise on increasing complexity driven by product innovation and regulatory changes in numerous jurisdictions.

Your role will see you get excellent exposure to all aspects of work streams creating an accelerated learning and development curve.

Responsibilities

  • Support on all work streams in investment solutions/ product management working with the existing team in Zurich
  • Understand and translate business requirements into project plans, on-boarding checklists, and process flows including all issues relating to tax, legal, regulatory and ratings
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders providing timely responses to requests
  • Check and review prospectuses and memos for products
  • Support the distribution teams with due diligence of potential distributors and investors
  • Collaborate to resolve issues and escalate to the Investment Solutions team as appropriate
  • Maintain an awareness of new trends and developments in relevant industries for products and services
  • Ensure the development of end-to-end operating models that are strategic and scalable where possible

What you will have

  • At least 6 years’ experience gained in the area of investment solutions/ product management preferably coming from Asset Management, an understanding of a B2B distribution environment will be a plus
  • Interest in developing innovative products and working in sustainability, preferably you will have worked in alternatives
  • Excellent analytical, interpersonal and written communication skills
  • Curious combined with the initiative to be the creator of your own destiny through proven performance
  • Huge curiosity, hungry to learn
  • Strong work ethic, team player with a service oriented mind-set
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, PowerPoint
  • Credentials from a leading university and /or relevant sector training
  • Excellent written and verbal language skills – in English combined with fluency in either French / Italian / Spanish or a CEE language
