Lead DevOps Engineer (12 months)

What we need
Do you have a passion for FinTech and creating state of the art tools? Are you interested in using your technological knowledge and expertise to drive and help us evolve and revolutionise the Asset Management and Impact Investing sector? As a DevOps Engineer you would support us in building an entire CI/CD pipeline from scratch for a web application platform. You would be in charge of deploying and monitoring our Investment Platform web application, setting up in the cloud our development, test, staging and production environments. Further, you would help us to define our release processes and coordinate the application releases prepared by our near-shore development teams.
Responsibilities
- Configuring the application server
- Setting up the application environments (Local, Dev, Quality, Staging, …, Prod)
- Managing the version control system (GitHub, Bitbucket) and the application security configurations (api keys, passwords, SSL)
- Setting up and managing Docker repositories in Kubernetes, images and containers
- Implementing the software development pipeline in continuous integration deployment mode (CI/DI)
- Load balancer configuration
- Responsible for the web application deployment, monitoring, backup and archiving
- DB migrations, monitoring and backup of MongoDB
- Coordinate the release and deployment process
- Supervise activities of other DevOps and automated test team members working remotely
- Interact with other support teams (Docker, MongoDb, Azure, …)
What you will have
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering, or relevant industry experience
- At least 4+ years of professional experience in DevOps
- Previous experience in configuring a full CI/CD pipeline from scratch
- Recent hands-on experience in deploying with Docker / Kubernetes
- Skilled in source control management using Git
- Experienced in web app deployment and configuration (node.js)
- Skilled in MongoDB (installation, configuration and migration)
- Experience and knowledge of Azure Cloud & Azure Stack (hybrid cloud setup)
- Cloud certification (Azure or AWS) would be a plus
- Knowledge of application security (SSL, prod configuration management, …)
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Fluent in English, French or Russian
