What we need

An entrepreneurial sales professional with proven leadership experience to develop our Austrian business as Senior Relationship Manager bringing our products to an attractive market for ThomasLloyd. We have an innovative suite of products, driven by sustainable investing principles, which includes Alternative Investments, Bonds and our online Wealth Management platform. You will drive sales of ThomasLloyd products via Financial Intermediaries.

An experienced, credible salesperson you will bring an existing network of clients which may include Financial Advisors/ IFAs, Asset Managers, Fund of Funds, Private banks, & Family Offices as well as other distribution networks.

Responsibilities

  • Hands-on development of distribution partners (Financial Intermediaries) in Austria
  • Representing our products to your existing network as well as prospecting new clients, differentiating us from the rest of the market
  • Develop a deep knowledge of ThomasLloyd products allowing you to provide innovative solutions, communicate our investment strategies, coach distribution partners and train your team
  • Using your proven sales skills and comprehensive product knowledge, build up our platform through newly-affiliated partners in Austria. This will be supported by our Investment Solutions and Distribution teams who are based in Zurich, our headquarters
  • Focussed on success you will deliver set performance targets and outperform the competition
  • Manage and cultivate existing and new relationships ensuring their knowledge of ThomasLloyd products; providing training, attending events and maintaining regular communication
  • Drive individual as well as team performance, communicating with senior leadership and forecasting annual, quarterly and monthly sales

What you will have

  • Entrepreneurial, passionate spirit combined with a successful career in business development/ third-party distribution giving you a deep understanding of Financial Institutions
  • Experience of selling investment strategies, preferably Alternative Investments or Illiquid Strategies with the desire and capability to build a new market in Austria
  • Strong track record selling B2B investment solutions in Austria within Asset Management, Wealth Management, or wider Financial Services including Banks, Insurances
  • Fluency in German and English
  • Self-motivated, persuasive nature, innovative mind set and spirit combined with sales-DNA
  • Highly organised and goal oriented
  • Mobility and flexibility to meet client needs as required
