ThomasLloyd Group continues global expansion and recruits new manager

Miriam Plater is the new Head of Human Resources

London, Zurich, 2 August 2018. The ThomasLloyd Group has expanded its management team, taking on an experienced executive – Miriam Plater is to be responsible for the Human Resources function (HR) and will make a key contribution to the company’s global expansion. She reports directly to Michael Sieg, Chairman and Group CEO of the ThomasLloyd Group.

As part of ThomasLloyd’s ambitious growth strategy, Miriam Plater will focus on attracting and developing employees; at the same time she will implement consistent and transparent HR standards across the Group. She has great experience in dealing with teams, adapting the HR strategy to the company strategy and scaling business for future growth. Miriam Plater previously worked for 14 years as Global HR Director at Bibby Financial Services, a once fast growing British company. In addition to her function as Head of HR, she was actively involved in a technology-based transformation programme and was responsible for a staff loyalty initiative intended to strengthen employees’ identification with the company. The result was that her former company was voted one of the “Sunday Times Top 100 Employers” for five years in succession.
